About Trinity
A Lifelong Passion for Music and Teaching
Music education runs in Trinity Jones’ blood—she is a third-generation music educator dedicated to shaping the next generation of musicians. Growing up in Grand Junction, Colorado, she developed a deep love for music, performing, and teaching, setting her on a path that would lead to an accomplished career in music education.
A Strong Musical Foundation
Trinity’s journey began at Fruita Monument High School, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. As a two-time Colorado All-State Band selection on tuba, she distinguished herself as a dedicated and talented musician. For four years, she performed with the Grand Junction Centennial Band, refining her artistry and gaining valuable ensemble experience.
Higher Education and Musical Excellence
Trinity continued her studies at the prestigious University of North Texas, where she is graduating Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Music Education. While at UNT, she studied tuba with Dr. Richard Morgan, Professor Don Little, and Blake Lile, further deepening her expertise as both a musician and an educator.
Beyond her coursework, Trinity has actively shaped young musicians by teaching tuba in local schools around Denton. She is currently student teaching in the Argyle Schools, gaining hands-on experience in the classroom as she prepares for her career as a full-time music educator.
Looking Ahead: A Future in Music Education
After graduation, Trinity hopes to continue teaching in Texas, bringing her passion, dedication, and expertise to the next generation of musicians. She believes in fostering a love for music in her students and helping them reach their fullest potential—just as her teachers did for her.
Beyond the Classroom
When she’s not teaching or performing, Trinity enjoys exploring the outdoors, caring for her houseplants, and spending time with her beloved cats. Whether she’s hiking a scenic trail or nurturing a new plant, she brings the same patience and dedication to every aspect of her life.
